Given how western GramscoFabiaNazis have corrupted large parts of Islam, are using it as a cats-paw to overturn this civilisation (Islam ought to watch out what’s to become of it once they have done their “Useful Idiot” thingy with it and don’t need it any more) and currently are winning the strategic war, it seem a good tactic in the short term – say about 10 or 15 years.

As to who shall “f-ck over” whom at the end of this cycle, you may be sure that that the “Sufis” (in all quarters) from behind the scenes will have the final say.

Interesting, the assertion supra that these post-secular, post-humanist, post-contemporary and post-moral & constitutional Public Liberals are said to be “winning the strategic war.” Surely then there is no irony in the World any more whatsoever, and certainly none at all in the Russian offer to assist the US to “accessing” /their/, um, turn in…Afghanistan?

I’m with you up to the half way mark. The Gramscians might consider Muslims to be their agents of revolution, but how certain can anyone be that they won’t become powerful enough in their own right to challenge the ruling class itself?
Bad laws innocently passed have a habit of taking on a life and a momentum of their own, why should a large group of devout co-religionists by be any more easily controlled by the state?
Perspective is a function of time.
In the long beat of western History, it is clear from the repeated cycles of conflict and trade, not least in ideas, that indeed muslims with their unitarian view — it is one that both anticipates our contemporary science and alludes to yet further vistas — like ourselves, in the rest of the West (pace Baroness Thatcher), are horizon seekers.
The present phantasy of a ‘clash of cultures’ is erroneous in at least three ways: the ascription to this particular episode of a spurious uniqueness, the consequent and deliberate-seeming ignorance of the vaster gulf between the whole of the West and the Far East, and not least as an effective means of luring support for Israel outside of constitutionally compromised neo-conservative circles.
This last can ultimately do Israel no good that she cannot manage to do for herself, whereas the real question of a true perception of China and confucian culture goes begging, and meanwhile we are in a real danger of being distracted by the dangerous emotional messiness of this present bitter row across South-West Asia and the Mediterranean.
It is to-day a three-way vendetta of murder amongst cousins (both our jewish and arab moral and historical relatives, and ourselves!) and our propinquity at bottom is like it or not religious as well as philosophical, historical and indeed in the fullest sense /scientific/.
Objectively — and that coolness of view itself is a gift of that same innate scientific-mindedness — we together compose the one sprawling and no-end untidy culture in World that nevertheless actively seeks through the storm of stupidity the Future.
And so it comes down to this, to send loads if need be of the comelier young mums on benefit to the hareems of West Asia, an it would but open up the even freer discourse between us, would be in the service of the whole future of the West only the smallest os sacrifices to make.
