Reminds me of a photo of the Twin Towers coming down, shortly after 9/11, with a caption by Claire Wolfe to the effect that this was the fault of the Evil U.S. Government.
With that, I lost any respect I might have had for Miss Wolfe.
Yes Julie – it was all the fault of the U.S. government, the Rothbardians will explain it all to us….. (it is all to do with the Eye-In-The-Pyramid and the Crystals of Atlantis).
Of course, now that I think of it, the exact same thing has been “said” innumerable times already, in the countless political cartoons to which we have become accustomed over centuries.
Actually, I suppose the thing could be taken as a mocking parody of such cartoons. One would need the entire context of the publication, of course, to reach such a conclusion. On its face, one assumes it is what it seems: an indictment of Mr. Blair.
Enoch’s Eyebrow – Mr Blair is NOT Jewish. He was being polite (as I hope you would be) during a visit to a Jewish shrine.
Although standing right next to a Prime Minister who was later found guilty of fraud, is an embarrassing photograph.
People in Israel tend to be rather less forgiving of fraud in politicians that the British people.
Also (of course) a man standing for office without military experience would be laughed at Israel (well “laughed at” is wrong – he would be greeted with stunned silence if he ever dared talk about security matters without evidence that he had served).
I’m not seeking to be antagonistic or at all derogatory Mr Marks, but sometimes I do wonder if you might have some mild form of asperger syndrome (or similar kind of thing).
I only suggest it because I recognise traits in it myself sometimes (and in some others) – and it may explain some things with the comments that have been put under this article by yourself.
I believe that some characteristics are a higher than average intelligence, but a tendency to concentrate on a niche interest, perhaps recalling information about it randomly, an inability or difficulty to pick up on other people’s true thoughts, to look at an object or image or read a conversation a differently to others – and taking things literally which were really meant as wider commentary or as a joke, etc.
For example, I noticed that the first port of call for you is to make the mental note that the image is faked and then comment about this ‘fraud’. For you, that seems to be the primary thing to comment on or ‘see’ in relation to the image – and that because it is a fake, anything said about it is not worth getting into because it has no factual integrity as an image.
I think that to most other people seeing the picture it is more obviously seen as being faked. But the fact and issue that is faked is extremely far away from the impact (and the point) that the manufactured image is supposed to have or convey! For them, the ‘fraud’ of the picture is unimportant and would not undermine the point of it.
This would not the first time that you have seen something or read something and then gone on to miss the real underlying issue by going off on a bit of a tangent. That is not to say you’re not clued up on this and that, but that somebody may be really talking apples when you’re on about oranges.
It is like with the comment by Enoch’s Eyebrow too… there seems to be a fundamental misinterpretation going on in relation to what Enoch’s Eyebrow was actually saying. You seem to have seen the image of Mr Blair with the cap on, and then got it into your mind that he was suggesting that Mr Blair was Jewish.
Again, perhaps you take the photograph literally, or have already got it in your mind that with these ‘far-right’ types they think everybody is secretly Jewish, so therefore the comment must have been implying this. I am not sure.
Myself, I took no hint whatsoever from the comment that they were suggesting that Mr Blair was Jewish.
What I took as being suggested is that he is “well in” with the Jewish influences of the world, that he is bought and paid for, has done their bidding with foreign policy – and that the Jewish Prime Ministers (at the root of all this, for the security and interests of Israel) are therefore doing a better job of looking out for their people’s interests, security and national integrity than Mr Blair ever did for the English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh peoples of this land.
You may not agree with that suggestion, but as you have not commented on it in such a way, I can only come to the thought that you were not appreciating what ‘point’ it was supposed to really convey.
However, perhaps it is me who is not understanding what the commenter is saying – as I say, I know that sometimes I can get the wrong end of the stick! Believe me, I do have my moments in certain situations and with certain aspects of life in this way.
I suppose I am curious though at how thoroughly you seem to want to debunk other people on things that they were never actually saying…and wondering if there may actually be something else going on there.
Sorry if I am implying something that might well be ridiculous – it is not meant to be in any way condescending or suggestive. I am, as ever, just thinking out aloud.
Maybe there is nothing of the sort going on and you just see what you want to see sometimes (like we all can, including me!) or have just coincidentally taken something the wrong way.
I despise Mr Blair – but this photograph is obviously faked (most likely an example of photoshop).
A clumsy fraud.

Yes, of course that photo is a fake: who would think otherwise? But the photo here of Blair is genuine:

I wish British prime ministers would look after the interests of the UK as well as Israeli PMs look after the interests of Israel.

All men are (to a greater or lesser extent) a “bit aspergers”.
This is because our primary function is to detect enemies and guard against them.
“Objectification” is a necessary part of that.
By the way if you are not saying that Mr Blair served Jewish interests – then good-for-you because he did not.
