I have uploaded about a thousand LA Publications. Anyone who would like to start checking that they are there and telling me if they aren’t will be in my debt.
I just started at the beginning, with “Atheist Notes.” The first four look OK, but after that each one seems to lead to the article with the next higher number. For example, the link to Atheist Notes 005 actually leads to a PDF of Atheist Notes 006.
On Cultural Notes, they seem to be there up to 56, but 57 and 58 give page not found. Also, there are quite a few Economic Notes mixed in among them.
Results of a very quick pass-through, using the “Libertarian Alliance” drop-down menu at the top:
Athiest Notes – from the second link to number 4 onwards, each one seems to be linking to a PDF one higher numbered than it should be.
Cultural Notes – they seem to be there up to 56, but 57 and 58 give page not found. Also, there are quite a few Economic Notes mixed in among them.
Educational Notes – all the ones I tried were there, but the directory isn’t in the right order.
Economic Notes – the few I tried look OK, but some of them have found their way into Cultural Notes instead. Also, there’s no number 1.
Foreign Policy Perspectives – there’s nothing there.
Legal Notes – 1 and 52 are both there, but 53 gives page not found.
Libertarian Fiction – the second Brian Micklethwait (4) and Richard Granger (1) links point to each other’s PDFs.
Libertarian Heritage – none of the ones I tried worked, there seems to be a spurious %5D on the end of each PDF link.
Libertarian Reprints – the two that are there look OK, but should there be more?
Philosophical Notes – number 2 doesn’t work (it leads to a PDF numbered 1, which isn’t there). The other ones I tried were OK.
Political Notes – all the PDF links I tried were OK, but the index isn’t ordered, and there are duplicates (e.g. 119, 69, 194).
Psychological Notes – everything I tried looked OK.
Religious Notes – didn’t notice anything wrong.
Scientific Notes – didn’t notice anything wrong.
Sociological Notes – didn’t notice anything wrong.
Study Guides – virtually all of them point to a paper different from the one listed in the index – e.g. the Sean Gabb link goes to the paper by Judy Tame.
Tactical Notes – all the PDFs I tried were there, but the index seems to be in reverse order.
