Mr Bickley has very kindly appointed me as the Webmaster for the Libertarian Alliance. After some discussion, we’ve decided to make a few changes.
The first and most obvious is the name. Since Free Life is, in practice, the blog of the Libertarian Alliance, we might as well call it what it is. Renaming it to The Libertarian Alliance makes things simpler and spares us the trouble of explaining the connection every time someone asks. No more puzzled emails wondering whether the two are separate entities.
I’ve also introduced a new structure for the site. The aim is to make it look better and allow for easier navigation. If you’ve ever found yourself scrolling endlessly in search of an article you read weeks ago, you’ll appreciate the improvements. If not, pretend to appreciate them anyway.
Of course, nothing like this ever goes off without a hitch. There will be the inevitable wrinkles to iron out, and we may well change our minds about some of the details—fonts, colours, formatting. Bear with us while we tinker, and feel free to point out any disasters we’ve overlooked.
In the meantime, welcome to the new and improved Libertarian Alliance.

What are all these images? They all look kind of the same. Are they AI-generated?
I have decided that, unless they insist otherwise, all LA contributors will have generated avatars based on their true appearance.
OK. I meant, not the avatars, but the image used for this blogpost of people sitting at computers, and the image in Sebastian’s article of Chinese scholars – they seem to be AI pictures. I think good AI like that can only be found for a monthly subscription.
