Traditional morality, and normal decent people, see the abuse, torture or murder of a baby or a child as the worst class of evil there is. The instinct we have towards children, if we are in any way moral and rational people, is overwhelmingly protective, even towards children who are not our own. The natural parental instinct of protection is broad enough for us to recognise the shared vulnerability and preciousness of other children and infants.

This manifests in everyday life all the time. We are especially outraged by cruelty to children. We smile when we see a baby in a pram or a little child with their parents. We do this so often and so reflexively that we don’t even notice it until we are ourselves parents and see people reacting that way to our children.

It is one of the most beautiful things about our species.

Astonishingly, though, ideology can grow so warped and so perverse that it scrubs this natural instinct from the soul, turning the believers of an ideology into creatures indistinguishable from those rare individuals who are born with the minds of sociopaths. The mind, the soul, is made of clay, and always ready to be worked and shaped by a determined hand, for good or ill.

Thus it is that we have today regions of the US, like Maryland and California, where the most vile evil imaginable is set down in legal bills waiting to be enacted, and has supporters and advocates who describe these measures as progress. These bills extend abortion law to encompass allowing newly born babies to die from neglect if the mother desires it. Days or weeks after birth, and specifically protected in law from any consequence, mothers and doctors can inflict horrific and lingering deaths on the most innocent of persons. The kind of behaviour that has us shuddering in disbelief when we hear of some vile step-parent killing a child at home, will be legally endorsed as a ‘right’ to which such monsters are entitled…so long as they enact those cruelties with official companions.

It is called infanticide. That is what it is. The worst crime there is.

They call it ‘reproductive justice’. This is the euphemism by which these grotesque, revolting, utterly evil bills are justified.

If such bills don’t make you realise that modern leftists, globalists and progressives are evil beyond redemption, damned and soulless monsters whether you believe in God or don’t, nothing will.

When they aren’t sexualising minors and supporting perverts who want to discuss sex with five year olds, they are importing child rapists, covering up grooming gangs, backing the lowering of ages of consent and turning the murder of babies into an inalienable right. That is the progressive path. A road built on the screams of the innocent.
