Recently, Obotheclown and others commented on the Home Office “citizenship test”. We all failed because we knew nothing about State services to the shiftless and those on what we use to call “income support”, or what services are available to ethnic minorities etc. We thought the test was about one’s knowledge of British history, culture and civilisation – more fool us!
Now it seems that “citizenship” and knowledge about benefits and access to public services” really are linked in the minds of the Political Enemy-Class. Our suspicions were not groundless after all.

Dear God, I heard about this lunacy on the ‘PM’ programme driving home. They even get extra points for political canvassing or ‘trade union activity’. I suppose they get a hundred bonus points if they report someone for stopping at a bus-stop pull-in to let someone out of their car as well!
