The Employment Tribunal judge dismissed her case, on the grounds that, while she had a legal right to her opinion,
‘that does not mean that her absolutist view that sex is immutable is a protected belief for the purposes of the [Equality Act]…. The approach is not worthy of respect in a democratic society'
As usual, an excellent essay. Alas, I find myself in disagreement. Or maybe a better way to put it would be that I have different experiences, and therefore a different practical route to a solution.
Small private business can easily circumvent, or minimise the impact of, the orthodoxy and the various employment and equality laws, thus I believe the general solution is secession. Free-minded people should form their own communities, based around small numbers of people and extended families.
